A polished concrete floor has a glossy, mirror-like finish. The design options for polished concrete are vast. You can choose nearly any color, create patterns with saw cuts, or embed aggregates or interesting objects into the concrete prior to polishing.
Linde engineers are among the most knowledgeable in the world when it comes to gas-enabled applications. Here you will find a wealth of information on the process innovations and application expertise they have brought to Cleaning, Polishing & Grinding.
Our process is a "wet" process usually most companies use a "dry grind" to service the concrete. However, we differentiate ourselves by using a wet process through the water tanks that our grinding machines have. We grind with water, and vacuum the excess immediately. This process creates a smoother floor, more durable surface with less dust, compared to the commonly used dry process.
Grinding and Polishing GRINDING removes saw marks and levels and cleans the specimen surface. Polishing removes the artifacts of grinding but very little stock. Grinding uses fixed abrasives—the abrasive particles are bonded to the paper or platen—for fast stock removal. Polishing uses free abrasives on a cloth; that is, the abrasive particles are suspended in a lubricant and can roll or ...
The Grinding Process Grinding is a material removal and surface generation process used to shape and finish components made of metals and other materials. The precision and surface finish obtained through grinding can be up to ten times better than with either turning or milling. Grinding employs an abrasive product, usually a rotating wheel brought into controlled contact with a work surface ...
Grinding and polishing is the final stage in the sample preparation process and consists of several steps. Each step uses finer abrasive than the previous one, the ultimate goal being to produce a deformation-free, scratch-free and highly reflective sample surface.
We provide standard precision processing of holes, cylinders, and grooves, with micron-level accuracy. The outstanding processing accuracy has been achieved through the application of technology cultivated in laser processing and hard materials polishing technology used in cutting diamond and making phonograph needles.
Polishing and buffing are finishing processes for smoothing a workpiece's surface using an abrasive and a work wheel or a leather strop. Technically polishing refers to processes that use an abrasive that is glued to the work wheel, while buffing uses a loose abrasive applied to the work wheel.
